Reddit User Acquisition Campaign

In 2022, Reddit came out with its first global user acquisition campaign. The strategy was to utilize actual user testimonials from the product itself and reviews from the app store. Providing true authenticity and relevancy to the respective markets. As if a friend was describing Reddit to you. We also wanted to showcase hypnotizing UGC visuals in the background to show Reddit is more than just a text based app. This campaign increased our impressions by 71%, and decreased our CPI by 61%. Also, outperformed our historical creative for number of installs by 145%.
